What type of writing sights are features on Writers Work and who can apply?

In this review of Writers Work, we’re going to answer all of that and then some.

What is Writers Work?

For those of you who aren’t aware, Writers Work is a freelance platform like Upwork but specifically where you as a writer can go in order to find jobs via online clients and once you complete those jobs, you will get paid.

Through Writers Work, you have the opportunity of working from the comfort of your own home.

Yes, there are many writing platforms that pay writers like Writers Work and they vary in quality. Some are worth it, but others aren’t worth it.

Writers Work is a platform that is worth your time because you can find legit writing work on there.

In order to make this a legit review, I went to Writers Work and signed up, so I can report all of the fine details to you.

Basics about Writers Work

Writers Work Offering

Writers Work offers writing gigs to freelance writers. The writing gigs include website content, copywriting, blogging, and even social media posts.

Unlike some of the other online job platforms, it doesn’t offer transcriptions, website design, editing, video creation, or any other gigs along those lines.

Writers Work Age Requirement

In order to pick up a job on Writer Work, you must be at least 18 years of age and you will be required to have an account where money can be deposited.

Now that you see the basics, it’s time and jump right in and see how you can start making money on Writers Work.

When it comes to writing platforms like this one, you need to focus on the experience, and ignore what the marketing days.

When marketing is on a platform, it will make them sound lucrative and easy, when it may be anything but.

When it came to Writers Work’s approach, there were some red flags that you guys may notice at first, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. In fact, there were some things I really liked about the platform.

The Earnings from Writers Work

Consider how much money a freelance writer can really make. Can a freelance writer use their skills and make a living?

Writers Work does claim that the writers on the platform can make anywhere from $20 fast and even up to $65 an hour.

You will not have any guarantee that you will qualify for the high-paying jobs, like $100 articles on the platform, and you can never predict the availability of articles when you first sign up.

How Much Money can You Make with Writers Work?

From what I have seen with the overall process, as a freelance writer, you could make at least $20 an hour through the platform.

Assuming you have a steady flow of projects coming in from clients, and how fast you’re able to write an article, you may be able to make more than this per hour.

By putting in a lot of work, you could make $65 an article.

However, there’s some pretty steep competition on there competing for the highest-paying article, and for that reason, higher figures may be hard to reach.

How are the Fees on Writers Work?

When we first found the Writers Work platform, we also looked at some other comparable writing sites, and this is what we found:

  • SolidGigs – The cost for this platform is $19 per monoth.
  • FlexJobs – This is another popular freelancing site and the cost is $49.95 per year.
  • Hello Bonsai – The cost for Hello Bonsai is $19 per month.

For Writers Work, you can pay a lifetime payment of $47.00 and have instant access right away forever.

This is the most popular payment option and is great for those who are serious about earning money through freelance writing on a long-term basis.

The platforms offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, which is pretty good.

You will also have the option to pay per month, if you don’t want to pay the $47.00 up front, but we don’t recommend the monthly fee as much as we recommend that lifetime payment fee.

The premium freelancing sites charge fees with the goal of featuring work that isn’t going to be available everything, managing the application process, and consolidating jobs from across the Internet.

In other words, sure, you may be able to find the work without paying a fee, but it is going to involve a whole lot of research on your end.

Freelance writers who are more advanced and have been around for a while probably won’t have to join a platform like this, because they will have clients and contacts that they can contact when they need more writing gigs.

Writers Work Refunds

Writers Work does have a fee that you will need to pay in order to use the platform, and since I talked about the fees, I would also like to talk about refunds.

The site guarantees a refund within 30 days if you have an experience that is anything but how you expected it to be.

So if you pay to use the platform and you find you really do not like it, and would like your money back, that is possible.

Writers Work Review

Some Writers Work Features I Like

Job Listings

A full time writer would love the job listing section. Writers Work puts together a list of jobs that come from a variety of sources.

I like this list because it has been gathered from places all over the web and put into one location right in front of me.

With this feature, writers will be able to save time because they won’t have to look across multiple platforms – they can simply go to Writers Work.

Having this unified list right in front of me is great, and I’m sure many other writers feel the same about this.

After this list is created, this is where the system gets interesting – it is able to filter the type of job, pay, and source.

Project Management System

This platform will give you a place where you can manage all of your writing.

If you’re a beginner, you may find the project management system beneficial.

However, if you are already established, you probably already have your own specific way of staying organized, so the Project Management System may not be a feature you would want to use.

With the system, all you have to do is put in the projects you currently have that you’re completing. You can also add sub-tasks in order to help you stay organized.

Other Interesting Business Articles To Consider:

Keyword Search and Notifications

This is another useful feature that I like about the platform. When you search, you can save your search and get notified whenever a writing job pops up.

For the notifications, you can choose to be notified instantly, daily, or weekly. Writers Work pulls online job listings from sits like Problogger and Indeed, which is pretty good in my book.

Submissions Section

The Submissions Section is a great way for online freelancer to get paid for the work they have done.

In this section, you will find a description of what publications are searching for and what the publication entails. This is the place where writers go to pitch themselves to publications.

Just like in the Jobs Listing Section, using the filters, you can search by topics in order to find publications that are interesting to you.

Afterwards, you will be able to add that listing to your projects and you can email the publication and send them your pitch.

I’ve noticed that an email isn’t always listed though, but another way for you to submit work to the publications you’re interested in would be to go to their website.

When you click on the submission entry, it will take you to the website of the publication.

I tested out the submission page on the platform and I got many offers to submit my payment article.

I received instructions on how much money I would get paid per article, for 200 words, how to submit the work and the type of work the publications were looking for.

With one article, I got paid $80. So yes, this is a handy feature that I feel freelance writers will enjoy.

Below are review of some more companies that pay you for doing different fun activities that you would even do for free. With these companies you join for free and get paid to view ads, watch videos, listen to music, share your thoughts and opinions, etc.

Conclusion

I feel that a freelance writer who is just starting out would be able to benefit from the Writers Work platform.

With a platform like this by your side, the sky is the limit, and you could earn up to as much as $65 an hour.

If you’re just starting out, writing does take a lot of work, but from one write to another – the pay is worth it and having the ability to set your own hours and work from the comfort of your own home is totally worth it.

So go ahead, take a look at Writers Work and see if you can find your first gig on there. It’s time to “Write your way to the life you want.”
