Rick Ross is the stage name for William Leonard Roberts II. He was born January 28, 1976. His birthplace is in Clarksdale, Mississippi. He was raised in Carol City, Florida.

Rick Ross attended Miami Carol City Senior High School. After graduation from high school, he got a football scholarship to study at the historically black college Albany State University.

2010: An EP titled “Albert Anastasia EP” was released by Rick Ross in May of 2009.

In addition, his fourth studio album titled “Teflon Don” was also released. The album featured artists like Ne-Yo, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Gucci Man, Styles P, Diddy & Trey Songz, etc.
