Nu Skin is the type of brand that leads with science, and this is something that they demonstrate in their comprehensive product portfolio.
If you view the portfolio, it becomes obvious that a large amount of scientific research is put in each and every one of their products.
Nu Skin has a large amount of products, and we’re going to share some Nu Skin reviews with you so that you can get an idea of the different products they offer.
Top 9 Best Nu Skin Products in 2021
Nu Skin offers a large amount of skin care products, including facial cleaners, serums, moisturizers, body care, exfoliators, skin care devices, and so much more.
What’s interesting is that the most popular Nu Skin product right now is Nu Skin Tanner, which I will tell you about first, but then I’m going to introduce you to some of the top Nu Skin products of 2021.
1. Nu Skin Tanner
The Nu Skin Tanner is named Sunright Insta Glow Tinted Self-Tanning Gel and my friend used it to help achieved that lovely bronze finish.
What’s good about this tanner is while achieving that bronze finish, it also gave some good moisturizing benefits.
This tanner is formulated for the body as well as the face and it is fragrance free, with the key ingredient being dihydroxyacetone.
2. Nu Skin Age LOC Dermatic Effects
If you’re on the market for a good cellulite cream that will give you that smooth appearance, then this one just might be a suitable option for you.
It is believed that this formula helps visibly smoot the appearance of cellulite and fat, which in return will firm the skin.
It contains a synthetic fragrance blend, and the key ingredients are honey, hibiscus extract, silicones, palmitoyl oligopeptide, alga extra, echinacea extract and chia seed extract.
3. Nu Skin 180 Face Wash
This rich creamy face wash is 10% Vitamin C and it can be used to target those age spots and skin discoloration.
My friend whose turning 45 years old next month has been using it to fight the appearance of wrinkles and firm her skin.
The key ingredients are 10% ascorbic acid, sunflower seed oil, sesame seed oil, and surfactant. This formula does contain a synthetic fragrance blend.
4. Nu Skin Face Lift
My friend swears that the Nu Skin Face Lift works immediately, tightening the face and giving a temporarily lift with a more youthful appearance.
This product is fragrance free and the key ingredients are derived from egg whites (this is said to firm and tighten the skin) and albumen.
The product contains methylparaben as a preservative.
5. Nu Skin Age LOC Future Serum
If you’re looking to reveal younger skin, then the NU Skin Age LOC Future Serum might just be the suitable option for you – it reveals younger skin in a total of eight ways.
It contains the benefits of many of the different anti-aging products all in one single product.
The key ingredients include humectants, glucosamine, silicones, lemon peel extract, pea extract, lysolecithin, and daffodil extract.
This product does contain a synthetic fragrance blend.
6. Nu Skin Age LOC Body Shaping Gel
This is another one of Nu Skin’s products that helps target the appearance of fat and cellulite by smoothing the appearance.
It also purifies and refreshes those harsh signs of aging.
The key ingredients include laminaria digitata extract, cocoa extract, chamomile extract, laminaria, hydroxpropyl cellulose, and butylene glycol.
Again, this company has paid $25+ million to members:

It does contain a synthetic fragrance blend.
7. Nu Skin Intensive Eye Complex
This cream boosts the skin’s moisture barrier, making for brighter under eye, protective barrier to stop pollution, and stress damage.
The key ingredients include A Biodaptive Botanical Blend (Maral Root, Rhodiola, Siberian Ginseng, Resurrection Plant, and Chaga Mushroom) and a blend of botanical extracts from plants that can help your skin bounce back from those daily stressors.
This product is fragrance free.
8. Nu Skin Age LOC True Face Essence Ultra
If you’re looking for an anti-aging face cream, this one might just be suitable for you.
It will help you obtain visibly firmer, more defined, and lifted skin.
The key ingredients are squalene, silicones, safflower seed oil, jojoba seed extract, olive oil, Vitamin C, Dunaliella saline extract, and retinyl palmitate.
While Nu Skin has some products with fragrances that smell pretty good, this one has no fragrance, and that is okay with me because I don’t have to worry about a headache after using it.
9. Nu Skin Age LOC Power Mask
This biocellulose mask will give you renewed skin that appears instantly plumped and refreshed.
The key ingredients include PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, daffodil extract, caffeine, and sodium hyaluronate.
All of these ingredients are used in concentration or less than one percent.
I know this because those ingredients are listed after xanthan gum (ingredients are listed in order of descending concentrations).
Xanthan gum is a thickener that many products use and it is usually at a concentration of one person but can be as little as 0.1% in some products.
So, with that theory, this would mean that you are getting less than 1% of the key ingredients. Nu Skin Age Loc Power Mask does contain a synthetic fragrance blend.
Key Ingredients in Nu Skin Products
I have done a lot of research on Nu Skin products, and one thing I have recognized is that the product has been formulated with a mix of commonly used ingredients for skincare along with some proprietary ingredients.
As an example, in Nu Skin products, it’s common to find ingredients like Vitamin E, Vitamin C, alpha hydroxy acids, sodium hyaluronate, emollients, and silicones.
Along with those commonly used ingredients, the products also contain proprietary blends. Take the Nu Skin ageLOC True Face Essence Ultra as an example, it contains the ageLOC Proprietary Blend, and “True Face FirmPleax.”
I learned that many of the products from NU Skin contain a high concentration of emollients and silicones.
Silicones are responsible for giving the product a smooth, silky feel, while also makes the product easily spread on the skin.
In Nu Skin Products, you’ll also find an emollient. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this substance, an emollient is an oily substance that is responsible for filling those spaces between dead skin cells, which creates a nice smooth surface on the skin.
Basically, an emollient makes your skin look smooth by filling in the cracks. Nu Skin has included emollients and silicones in their product, which will help keep your skin soft and smooth.
Also, if you have noticed in my reviews above, almost all of the products by Nu Skin contain synthetic fragrance ingredients.
I’ve noticed that synthetic fragrance ingredients can be a problem due to the fact that they may use a proprietary blend of chemicals to create that fragrance, and this can be an issue because they’re not required to disclose the chemicals they sue on the label.
I also worry because fragrance ingredients have the potential to cause sensitive skin to become irritated.
So far, the Nu Skin products are fine with me, and haven’t caused any problems, which surprises me because I have super sensitive skin.
Is Nu Skin a Good Place to Work?
Actually, I have discovered the Nu Skin is a super fun place to work – each day is new, and you never really know what the next day has in store for you, which can be exciting.
What I do know is that Nu Skin makes it work working there. They offer competitive pay, and in addition to this, you will have the opportunity to try out free beauty and cosmetic products and attend company events free of charge.
I feel that employees are a top priority with Nu Skin, and with that thought in mind, I can tell you that the job with Nu Skin is totally worth it and I’m thankful for having the opportunity to work with such a good company.
