Meek Mill was born Robert Rihmeek Williams. He was born on the 6th of May, 1987. His birthplace is South Philadelphia.

Mill was raised by his mother Kathy Williams. His father was killed when Mill was just five years old.

He has an older sister named Nasheema Williams.

His mother, Kathy, was poor and had no money and had to cut hair to sustain her two children. She moved to North Philadelphia so she could actually do other jobs to support the family.

2010:  Mill collaborated with D.J. Drama, the resident disc jockey at Grand Hustle Records to release a third version of his Flamers mixtapes. The title of this mixtape was “Flamers 3: The Wait is Over”.

The mixtape featured the song “Rose Red” which served as the promotional single. Later on, this promo single was remixed with additional verses from rappers like T.I. Rick Ross and Vado.

“Mr. Philadelphia” was another popular song in the mixtape. Mills parted ways with Grand Hustle this year.

A compilation album titled “Nothing But Flamerz” was released in March of this year.

2011: Mill signed up with Rick Ross’s Maybach Music Group (MMG). He was listed in the “Freshman Class of 2011” by XXL Magazine.

He released a debut single titled “Tupac Back”. This song featured Rick Ross and it was the second track of the tracks in “Self Made Vol. 1″ a compilation album by MMG.
