Jack Whitehall was born on 7 July 1988. The name was given to him from birth is Jack Peter Benedict Whitehall. He was born in the City of Westminster in Central London.

His father, Michael John Whitehall, is an English TV producer, a talent agent, author, and TV personality. His mother is Hilary Amanda Jane Whitehall, a well-known actress.

Jack has two siblings called Molly Louisa and Barnaby William.

He started school at Tower House School in East Sheen, West London. He also went to Dragon School in Oxford, and Marlborough College in Wiltshire.

During his elementary school days, he auditioned for the role of Harry Potter. He took a “year off” to pursue a career in stand-up comedy.

Whitehall was a History of Art student at the University of Manchester for two terms only.
