The mobile landscape certainly continues to grow as we head into 2014. More than half of the U.S. population owns a smartphone (57%, according to a Pew study) and Americans are spending an average of two hours per day on their mobile devices.

With 8% of a person’s day spent looking a mobile screen, there is a huge opportunity for mobile marketers to find customers who are looking for local services, as well as m-commerce customers who want to make a purchase online through their smartphone or other mobile device.

Let’s be a bit honest here? The current so-called industry does not create “real” value but a system to capture the minds of the people. The so-called innovators are actually creating things that are not actually needed by the people.

In this fake materialistic society, people are going deeper into a hole that seems to keep growing every single day. I suppose, this is an internet marketing blogging community and i should promote it but what if it is all leading our future generations towards a worse path?

Ever this thought cross your mind? Start thinking rather than sticking your eyes on a mobile screen. What about the people who are suppose to matter in your life?

Sorry for going off topic Kingsley, but i can’t help it. :)

2 hours a day on their mobile? Stunning yet not surprising. All seem to be yapping it up, or cruising the web, on their smartphone here in Thailand. Or at least they are going tablet mad from time to time, whipping out the case and getting down to cyber business.

See one problem here; Piyush, you said it. I want more real engagement, and less mobile usage, to develop stronger human bonds.
