The Split-Test Affiliates Forget to do 99% of the Time

I gave a tip to a friend of mine that ended up boosting his campaigns by a few hundred profit per day and I want to share it with you.

I’ve always stressed that the most important aspect of any campaign is the offer. The best landing pages, ads, and angles in the world don’t matter if the offer doesn’t convert.

Most affiliates will do two things in order to optimize the offer.

1) The first is they’ll ask for a pay bump. If the offer pays $3 street, then getting it bumped to $5 will instantly make your campaign more profitable.

2) Split-test offers. We’ll use USA mainstream dating as an example to make it simple. If you’re running USA dating then perhaps you would split-test match vs eharmony vs localusadating (made-up offer). You’d run a 33/33/33 split test in CPVLabs and just see which one makes the most money.

Well, I guess affiliates have to rise up to the occasion and apply the right type of spli-testing that suit their businesses. The ideas shared here should be wake up call to that effect. Split-testing on different but close pedestal could well be profitable.

Well, personally, I’ve not been an ardent fan of split testing in affiliate marketing. Blame it on the fact that I was introduced to affiliate marketing by mistake.

I found refuge in Facebook, as a medium to promote affiliate sales. I felt comfortable there and never really bothered to split test and enhance my earnings.

Well, scrubbing is a reason why many affiliates’ sales efforts are not rewarded appropriately! And advertisers have their own reason to resort to scrubbing, like Charles very well described in the article.

Will be really careful about scrubbing in future affiliate campaigns and endeavors! It is better to split test and find out which entity rewards the most!

I personally didn’t tired split testing for affiliate. But if this technique actually helps to improve my sales, then I should give it a try. I like the way you have shared this great split-test technique.

I would like to know more, how expensive this method is and what will be results?

Thanks for this helpful guide. :)
