Avatar of Arjay [Moderator] Submitted by Arjay [Moderator] April 10, 2014 Website: www.blogtrepreneur.com

A high quality camera, a little luck, and some ingenuity could lead you from dabbling in a hobby to making instant fast cash selling photographs online. Investing just a little bit of your time, say four hours a week, could have you snapping for cash in no time!

Check out these eight ways you can make money online with photography and get paid today!

Selling products online. You have heard the saying presentation is everything. This theory certainly applies to the art of taking a product and making it look its best in an effort to sell more online. Products sell much better when they are presented in a great way and the ability to create clean, crisp images is the secret to profitability. Once you have mastered the art of taking photographs, applying skills and techniques to produce quality images, and grasped the use of editing software, you are on your way to capitalizing on your newfound talent. By setting up a website, offering to take professional photographs of consumer products and goods, you can turn a simple service into making some pretty good money.

Graphic design. The need for good graphic design is on the rise, as it is a much sought after talent that demands skills and techniques that the average small business owner just doesn’t posses. Companies rely on branding efforts to make their products more recognizable and that starts with a great graphic designer who can take and utilize high quality photographs.

I do not know where to sell a photograph online; I just know that you can sell it. If you have a DSLR and loves taking pictures during your spared time, then it is a smart idea to earn something from it. I do not know how it cost, maybe the price depends on the value.

I’m not a photography enthusiast or pro photographer! But still, I find this information to be interesting. I may not be able to make use of my photography skills to make money or a living out of it. But I can suggest these methods to my friends, who have a flair for photography and its related aspects.

Thanks for introducing the sites where one can sell prints. It sure will come handy in earning some bucks!

At the end of the day, I’d say that skills matter. If one is talented enough in photography, then one can make decent to good revenue using these methods.

Very useful information shared by you. Thanks for doing that!

    Good share Arjay!

Sure, photography could be very handy in helping one make money online. It needs a little bit of creativity and luck. For most people who have knack for the cameras, the ideas shared here can help them turn passion into business. Some of the ideas here are revealing to me – for instance, using Fotomoto and Smugmug.

Photography is one amongst my favorite hobby and I often enjoy taking snaps of hill stations and cultural heritage. I couldn’t find the best place to sell them, as I have good collections of self-clicked high quality photos with DSLR camera.

I don’t know whether I am a good photographer or not but my friends really appreciate my photography skills. I do have good Photoshop skills to retouch photographs.

Currently, I am utilizing my photography skills for my festival portal, BengalFestival.com. I am still searching the good sites to sell my photos to earn some quick bucks. :)

For Travel websites always looks beautiful photos, I’ve seen on Flickr most request or buying the photos that looks excellent.

Some of my friends who own travel blogs, always bought most photos from top sellers. The price is good and enough for those travelers who want to recover the money from traveling.

I used to roam only in India and these photos are cheap, so waste of my time for selling such photos. Panorama photos are too increased in sales in these days.

I think earning money online through photography is a road less traveled!

Although if you were to earn money, I can’t think of any other method than you described.

Since the headline is earning online, I wonder why you mentioned portrait photography and Wedding photography ! Yes, you can get clients through the internet but you still have to leave the comfort of your house to earn. Isn’t quite the online gig.
