It’s the biggest F in the FAQ of SEO. The most frequently asked newbie question: “How can I get my website indexed by Google?” The answer is simple. It will get indexed on its own if it’s any good and you do any promotion. Ah…but there’s more to it than that.

Well David, the simply answer to this is to meet “Google’s requirement” for indexing.

However, I have also seen where nothing was done on a site but the pages still got indexed. Indeed, it seems like Google love playing games!

The Neil Patel’s suggestions to get a site Indexed quickly are on track. Providing related and useful content for supposed readers is a cool approach to entice Google’s indexing spiders!

There’s also the Google webmaster tool and bing webmaster tool one can sign up to, then submit their site. Also, sitemap on the blog or website can help it get indexed faster.

With the right codes in blogger template, one can specify how often their site is to be crawled, then indexed. I have also found this method to be very effective.

Like backlinks, Another effective method would be pinging the links of posts on the site, where it’ll get submitted to social bookmarking sites and web directories that are crawled by search engine bots frequently.

    Hi David,

As for getting a website indexed into google. I always make sure my site meets the requirements of Google. That I have proper SEO and optimization. Then, I use sitemaps. I can usually expect a new website to get indexed with a few days.

I personally stay away from Google Webmasters. Had a bad experience, and just never use it anymore.
