When it comes to blogging, plagiarism should always be avoided because, if you will publish any form of plagiarized content on your blog then Google will push down your blog in search results and you may lose a lot of traffic and credibility as well. The issue of plagiarized content is prominent in those blogs where guest posts are accepted. In order to avoid any such issue, you must check the submitted content for plagiarism. To help you with that, here I bring some of the best tools to check copied or plagiarized content.

DupliChecker is what I like among the others, unlike CopySpace, you need to paste the URL. While here, the text itself. I think this is easier to use. Well, I must say all of them. Nice share!

Its helpful having this list. A lot of online content providers don’t know alternative tools to CopyScape.

I guess in this post, the needed alternative checkers have been revealed. Its now time to checkout what each of these have to offer.

Its good to try them one after the other before making the final decision as to which one would be the best to go for.
However, CopyScape still remains one of the most dependable plagiarism checker around!

Copyscape is the best among the others but there are certain limitations with copyscape and that’s why people are looking for alternatives. I hope the list helps everyone looking for better plagiarism tools other than copyscape. Thanks for leaving your feedback. :)

    Nice share Devinder.

Well I don’t use these tools as I write the content myself. But from some last 1 month I have need receiving numerous guest posts and its really necessary to have a check at the articles via these

I have a question. Is checking the articles by a single tool enough to confirm its uniqueness or should we opt for checking a single article via 2-3 tools.

Right now I use smallseotools and its Really awesome. I will still consider trying the ones mentioned on the posts.

      Hi Iftekhar,

I am glad you find the post useful.

And to answer your question, All these tools use similar methodology to check whether the content is plagiarized or not. They break the content in to length such that the term is searchable in the Google and If they spot similarity, they’ll show the sources from which the content might be copied. So, checking from one is enough.

But, I myself check twice before publishing any guest post. So, It’s a good exercise to check twice with two different tools before reaching to the final conclusion.

I hope I answered your question.

I personally use for checking content stealing. Recently they have made it paid platform, i.e. you can use it only once a day.
However, if you use it once and clear off your cookies, than you can use it once more. 😉
You will be able to use it thrice or more times, and if you need more, change your browser 😀

My favorite free plagiarism checker online remains SmallSeoTools. The tool is quite simple and easy to use and have never failed me as it carefully check every sentence for existence on the web and will even suggest the date of publication with link if such contents exists elsewhere.

I have never knew except than Copyscape and don’t use even Copyscape for checking my articles. In the past on my personal blog so many young bloggers copied all the content on their blogspot blogs.

I used small Seo tools website for checking Google rank position, but never seen this plagiarism checker.

I am now understanding that their are more tools for helping bloggers, as I am not a big fan of blogger.

Thanks for sharing this article and it is useful for me and everyone.

Plagiarism is on boom these days. Free is something we all look for but there comes an uncertainty whether the results of such free services are correct. You listed quite a list for many to check out. From my personal experience I need to add one more to this awesome list.

The website is paperrater (dot) com. It provides all of it’s service free of charge and while the themselves don’t guarantee anything- it provided accurate citation’s when I copied some text and tested it. It is a great tool for everyone.
