Personal branding is a hot topic with all the social networks that we have along with the millions of blog, surging the web.

People utilize both for one reason – to show to the world who they are, what they like and what they are good at.

And namely that is the difference between internet marketing and personal branding:
While the first is about the companies and the profits, the latter is about the people behind them and their authority.

With content marketing gaining strength and tools like Google Authorship to credit our work on the rise, owning your personal brand and building a name for yourself as an expert in your niche is becoming increasingly important.

That was a very creative a witty info graphic, great data presentation I must remark.

The A to Z guide could help if followed correctly with passion and enthusiasm in work. This won’t be booming in a long period of time without these two. Love what you do and care for others.

    Simple, yet powerful.

Practice these in your career and note that love everything you do to maximize your personal brand.

The infographic very well listed some mouthwatering advantages of personal branding up there. But to build one and enjoy the benefits, one must be willing to put in some good old hard work and keep and eye on the A to Z aspects mentioned there.

After starting from A and ending at Z, I feel like I’ve been doing somethings right and some things were downright ignored by me! Like L and W aspects- LinkedIn and Winning friends, have largely been ignored by me.

At the end of the day, I’d say that the infographic will help one analyze the aspects associated with building personal brand. But one must be willing to work on the aspects mentioned there.

      Hi Arun,
I also thought this was a creative post. I was going to comment on the post, but instead I decided to pause on your comment. I just have to say I see your name and comments here a lot on and I think you are working on “W”. I don’t think you have ignored it . . . you are doing a good job on “W” :)

        Hi Barb,

Well, I’ve just started working on that ‘W’ aspect. I’ve been doing it all this time, but not the way I really wanted to do it. You know, the efforts were limited, less serious and less targeted.

I think that had I invested some time and effort improving this aspect since the time I started out blogging, I’d have achieved something really big, much more exciting than what I’m getting now! :)

Thanks for reading my comment and responding to it!

        Have a nice day!

Some of the tips I like from your Infographic, 1. Graphic 2 Help Others 3. Media, 4 Teach, 5. Voice.

You have said Linkedin, but never interested to build communication on Linkedin and still getting a lot of requests their.

Google Authorship and the third point leadership opportunities looks interesting, Can you confirm how does Linkedin works in leadership?
