Profile photo of Shamsudeen Adeshokan Submitted by Shamsudeen Adeshokan August 30, 2015 Website : cybernaira.com

Allow me to sound this clear to you, running an affiliate marketing without a website is not the best of strategy to build a long-term passive income from this online business model. But for reason(s) best known to you, you migh want to test things out first to see if this is right for you or you just don’t go with the idea of running a blog.

There are several ways you can get started with affiliate marketing without a website that will cost you next to nothing in terms of monetary aspect to start promoting your affiliate links. But in my opinion, those tactics will take longer to yield good result you might be expecting.

Marketing tactcis like:

Forum participation.
Answering questions on Q & A sites.
Free social media marketing.
Word of mouth……etc.

The above tactics are good but can only take you far, not far enough to the promise land.

All three affiliate marketing strategies listed below in this post will certainly cost you some decent money to get things right, you’ll need to spend some money on advertising which is the key to make these strategies work out accordingly.

    Hi Shamsudeen,

    Informative post, indeed! :)

These strategies are great and outside the box, but indeed, as you said, it takes money to burn it.

But if we can use it well, I believe we can be successful with this type of business. We can assume that money out as a long term investment to get greater results. :)

Thanks for sharing this with us, Shamsudeen.
Have a great beginning of this week!

      Hi Nanda,

One very simple truth I learned over the years in doing business is that it takes some kind of resources to get the best out of that business.

Sometimes, these resources might come in form of energy, time, experience, team work, and most of the time……money.

Running an internet base business without capital is a good thing, but is not the best of situation. For at least, you’ll need to spend money on important services like email marketing, web hosting, aggressive content marketing etc.

The earlier we agree with this fact, the better. I started experiencing better results from my blogging activities when I changed mindset from “Freebies” to “”Premium”.

Thanks Nanda, nice having you here.

Yes, affiliate marketing without a website is possible and legit. The strategy works effectively for those who can create and shared convincing content. Social media marketing utilization is a great option that one must consider.

Running an affiliate business without a website using Facebook should be based on the developed capacity to brand and attract good followers. It is a strategy I am yet to fully explore, though!

The three strategies are effective and should be highly considered by newbies who plan to explore the Internet and start making money.

The value put into running this type of online business should determine the success to be achieved!

    Hii Shamsudeen!

Nice post with great tips for affiliate marketing here. I agree with you, that you can test the waters with affiliate marketing without your own website/blog site – but it is not the best way to build an income online from affiliate marketing.

Your website/blog site online – is your Home Online. I think, it is a must, that you build your own home online.

Unless, you have a lot of money to spend on Paid Traffic, and that is all you do – to build your email list. It can be done – but it is more risky to take this route, and you also need a big budget to play with.

I don’t think everyone who wants to build an income online, has this kind of money to play with. After all, one of the main reasons they want to make money online, is because they need more money – right!

These 3 tips you just shared, are great – to help someone get started online with affiliate marketing, and without their own website. It will help them a lot.

Keep up the great work man!

    Have an awesome week! 😀

      Hi Freddy,

Nice to see you over at the blog, glad you like the post too.

You’re so right in all you said about running affiliate marketing without a website – is definitely going to bring some money out of the pocket running an online business without a website.

This is something a beginner shouldn’t try out, and unless he has some huge amount to spend on PPC like you said, is not going to work out. But I guess some of us like testing all waters, right?

This is why this topic need to be.

Thanks Freddy, nice having you here and so sorry for the late reply here. I’ve been onto something lately.

    Hi Shamsudeen,
This is a very informative and interesting article.
I love it because you are pointing out the downside as a preamble. Thanks.
Actually, you get nothing for free. Either you pay it with money or with time.
Placing banners which is brand marketing comes on mind first of every beginner.
It’s the most popular marketing campaigns, but to make it effective you require a substantial amount of money.
I think providing any chunk of value to the marketplace, be real and authentic, is the best strategy.
    Thanks for sharing.
    Have a good one.

DO you think banner ads alone would also be an effective strategy?

I never would have thought it’d be possible to be an affiliate marketer without a website haha, after all, your website/blog serves as your central hub.

It’s not the best situation to start an online business without a website, but I’m sure if there’s someone out there who truly can’t, this post will be of great help. Thanks for sharing.

    Hello Shamsudeen,

Those are some good ways to promote your affiliate link without a website. Before I started blogging that’s what I did. I still do it. I use advertising sites to advertise my affiliate links. I don’t want my blog to become spammy. I do have affiliate links in my blog posts but I don’t want to over do it. Plus, I like to have more than one way to advertise. So, now I utilize both ways. I think it’s a win-win situation. Thanks for sharing this with us!
