    Hi Ahmed,

First of all congratulations on your first anniversary in this blogosphere. It isn’t something easier to achieve. Many quit blogging during the early months into blogging.

Blogging of course has some hard lessons to be taught and your eighth point is very important; ‘Failed Attempts Are Just Some Funny Stories For The Future’
Yes; they are funny at the end.

    Hi Ahmed,
Every blogger has story to tell. It may be a potpouri of good, bad and ugly! Your experience is peculiar with many people and I admire your courage in sharing them. Yes, there is no doubt that we can still learn from your experience.

Every blogger should see blogging as marathon. It is not a get rich quick syndrome. Rewards are earned after investment of time, energy and money!

    Hi Waqas,

Number 3 is really important. In blogging its all about building those relationships that can truly determine your success. I learned that important point about 6 – 8 months into blogging. I’ve only been blogging for a year and I’ve made HUGE mistakes that I’ve learned from and I’m still learning from them.

Glad to hear about your year and all you learned.

Nice set of guidelines. I especially love number 8 where you empathize with the frustrations of a starter blogger although I did hope you included more specific personal stories of your blogging journey to give more inspiration. Thanks! (seen on

Haters will come in every stage, one needs to take them casually and move on. Engaging with readers and bloggers is an essential ingredient. One need to understand that a blogger grows only if readers are happy.

My first few months have been very terrific, now it is little stable. The best thing about blogging should be it’s healing effect.

I feel less stressed blogging. Thanks for sharing your experience.

More power to your elbow, it is not easy to have blogged for a full year, not many people go all that way…

We can all learn from what you have shared and they all drive home….

One thing I know is that blogging pays but not as quick as one would want but with effort, dedication and excellence one will get there…

Thanks for sharing this with us….

Hello there Waqas Ahmed! In my first year of blogging, I’ve also learned a lot, but not all of them are used or applied.

Just like you, I have understood how essential, Build Relationships, Being Organized, Quality of your content, helping others and so on in blogging.

In our early days in blogging we’ve felt like we’re lost in an ocean, sure many can relate, they need help and reading post from different bloggers is such a big help.
